This Sunday, the Under-10s took to the field for a challenging fixture against OV, facing a well-drilled opposition in a game that tested their teamwork, resilience, and technical ability.

From the first whistle, it was clear that both teams were evenly matched, with impressive phase play and well-executed mauling on display. Despite the physicality of the contest and the demands of an extended four-quarter format with limited substitutions, our young players showed remarkable determination and commitment throughout.

One of the standout aspects of the performance was the team’s rucking, a clear testament to their hard work in training. They consistently secured possession at the breakdown, allowing them to build attacking momentum and maintain pressure on their opponents. In addition, their line work improved as the game progressed, demonstrating their growing tactical awareness and ability to adapt under pressure.

It was a game that required grit and perseverance, and the team rose to the occasion, supporting each other and showing fantastic team spirit from start to finish. While the result may not be the only measure of success at this level, the skill, heart, and camaraderie displayed by the players made this a performance to be proud of.
