On Sunday our very new and developing under 12s team had their first ever match against Chess Valley. The game was fast from the kick off and Chess Valley were formidable opponents who have obviously played together for a long time, but the spirit and determination from Watford U12s never wavered. There was great communication and support amongst the boys throughout the match and some good tackles from Jayden, Zion, Connor and William with some unwavering attempts at try’s from Ben, George and Connor and some great defending from Chess Valley. Watford had some great defending from Aaron, Jay, Rory and William. Although Sadly there weren’t any try’s from Watford, there were some great try assists in the many attempted try’s from Alfie, Jay and Sam, but Chess Valleys Defence were strong! With Cameron claiming the well deserved Man of the Match for Watford. Although we lost, the spirits of the boys remained high and they are looking forward to their next game and the for that we couldn’t be prouder! We’re looking forward to watching this team learn and grow!
