With high energy from Watford and Kilburn, both sides move the ball creatively and ferociously, competing for the ball in a very even game.

Watford battle their way up the pitch when Sam Matthews takes a flat ball from Scott Menzies to cut through the Kilburn defence and score the second try for Watford, with Scott finishing what he started by adding the conversion and putting them into the lead.

Kilburn’s No.12 makes good work from a scrappy pass, beating his defender and putting a kick through. Chasing his kick, he beats Watford to the ball, diving for the try line as Scott Menzies hunts him down, making a try-saving tackle that causes Kilburn’s No.12 to knock the ball on.

Coming around the corner with lots of energy, Kilburn’s No.15 breaks the line, beating his defender and falling just short of the line, where his teammate, No.4, picks the ball quickly to put it over the line, bringing the score level.

With players tiring, Watford’s Chad Bekker picks up a yellow card for a high tackle, followed shortly after by Kilburn’s No.22 receiving a yellow card as well.

Late in the game, Watford forwards show their tenacity by turning over a scrum, allowing Josh Crowe to make a 30m line break, battling through Kilburn’s defensive line.
