It was a pleasure as usual to host Welwyn U14 girls at Watford on Sunday. On a lovely October day, girls’ rugby was the winner, with a good-natured game ending with everyone shaking hands and sharing food and a laugh in the clubhouse.

The U14’s mix together with Welwyn to play a 10 a side game on just under a full pitch. The Watford girls learned loads and development throughout the match. Welwyn‘s rucking stretched our team to start with; nevertheless, Watford stepped up their game and got the ruck right in the second half.

Again, a whole team performance was on show by all; nevertheless, Welwyn voted Phoebe their player of the match.
